Terms of Service
Last updated: October 19, 2026 · Version 1.0
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of SCORM Packager, the web service at scorm-packager.com for translating, combining and remediating e-learning packages ("the Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms for it.
1. Accounts and teams
You must give accurate information when you register, confirm your email address and keep your sign-in credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. An account owner can invite team members, and is responsible for who they give access to the organisation's projects.
2. Plans, billing and limits
Paid plans are billed in advance through Stripe, by card or, for eligible businesses, by invoice under our B2B Invoice Terms. Each plan includes the features and monthly translation word allowance shown on the pricing page. Audio, video and image translation count toward the word allowance. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel them from the billing portal in Settings. Except where the law requires otherwise, fees already paid are not refunded.
3. Your content
You keep all rights to the course packages, media and other material you upload, and to the packages the Service produces from them. You grant us a limited licence to store, process and transmit that content solely to provide the Service to you, including sending it to the service providers listed in our Privacy Policy. You confirm that you have the rights needed to upload, translate and modify the content you submit.
4. Machine output and accessibility reports
Translations, transcripts, synthesized voiceovers, captions and image text are produced with machine translation and other automated tools. They can contain errors, and you are responsible for reviewing them before you publish a course. Accessibility scans, remediations and evidence reports help you work toward WCAG 2.1 AA and Section 508 conformance, but they are not a legal certification of compliance.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use the Service to upload content that is unlawful or that infringes others' rights, to distribute malware, to attempt to access other customers' data, to interfere with or overload the Service, to resell it without our permission, or to get around plan limits. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.
6. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may change, add or remove features over time. Keep your own copies of your source packages; the Service is not a backup system.
7. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or close an account that materially breaches these Terms or has unpaid fees. After an account is closed, you will no longer have access to its projects, so download anything you need first.
8. Liability
The Service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits, lost data or business interruption, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid for the Service in the twelve (12) months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, or rights you have as a consumer.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated version date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Disputes will be settled by Swedish courts, with the Stockholm District Court (Stockholms tingsrätt) as the court of first instance, unless mandatory consumer protection law gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.
